Here are the classes that I will be teaching this fall at Western Christian College:
BIB 113 — A Survey of the OT
An introduction to the history, culture, literature, and theology of the Old Testament. In addition to understanding the Old Testament within its original setting, we will also give attention to how the message of the Old Testament engages us today. This is a Core Course.

TEO 213 — Hermeneutics

BIB 273 OT Special Topics – Beginnings: A Study of Genesis
This study of the foundational book of the Bible focuses on its themes, structure, literary artistry, and message. Attention will also be given to ancient Near Eastern parallels, critical issues and methods, and the history of interpretation.

For all the courses offered this fall, see Fall 2009 College Courses.pdf

Who is teaching TEO 113 on Wednesday nights?
Allen,
Bill Schwarz, the new Academic Dean, is teaching Christian Social Ethics. I think you would enjoy both Bill and the class. I’ve just posted a note of welcome to the new Dean at http://www.darrellbuchanan.ca/2009/07/08/welcome-to-the-new-dean/
I was wondering if you have the course description for TEO 113? The WCC website isn’t fully functional yet…however it looks like it will be great once it is up and running!
